Update to importing Information Models, February 2022
04.02.2022
This update to the blog post focuses on providing instructions on how to fix NodeSet files with minor errors that prevent using them. The instructions are related to the following NodeSet files: Opc.Ua.AutoID.NodeSet2.xml, Opc.Ua.IOLink.NodeSet2.xml, Opc.Ua.CSPPlusForMachine.NodeSet2.xml and Opc.Ua.CAS.NodeSet2.xml.
The update also adds Code Generator configuration files for all compatible NodeSet files. These configurations can be downloaded by clicking on icons on “SDK: Code Generator” column of the summary table or rows of the detailed result tables. Nodes that would cause name clashes in the generated code or have unsupported ValueRanks have been excluded in the configuration files. Note, that excluding Nodes only affects the API generated by the Code Generator and not the AddressSpace where the excluded Nodes will still be present.
The SDK tests were performed with the recently released Prosys OPC UA SDK for Java 4.7.0, which has been updated to use version 1.04.10 of the standard OPC UA information model.
The OPC Foundation hasn’t released any new or updated NodeSet files since the last update to the blog post.
Please, see the updated Blog Post for further information on importing information models from NodeSet files.
