Oracle recommends using Java for the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things has been a trending topic for quite a while now. Oracle, among other software companies, has a vision for the Internet of Things and how it can be used to automate the industrial economy. One of the key components of their vision is Java as the programming language.

In their new white paper, Oracle describes how Java can be used to create solutions in the Internet of Things. This paper also describes how Java and OPC UA can be leveraged to create interoperable solutions for industrial automation. We have written about this before in a blog post on our blog, and we believe our OPC UA Java SDK is the best solution for creating Java based solutions for the Internet of Things.
