OPC UA Online Workshop, June 2020

Prosys will organize an OPC UA Online Workshop on June 16-17, 2020.

This training provides the keys to successful use and administration of OPC UA applications in two efficient days. Also, the participants get a solid background understanding of the OPC UA specification and technology. The workshop is built around the basics of the OPC UA technology and hands-on tasks for using OPC UA applications.

The primary audience of this event are users of OPC UA applications, and anyone who is interested in learning the basics of OPC UA efficiently.

This workshop is designed for two days of training; each of the following lasts 3.5h.

Day 1 of the workshop covers an introduction to the OPC UA technology, its technical features and test tools.

Day 2 is dedicated to OPC UA security, services and applications including Prosys OPC UA Monitor and Modbus Server.

During the workshop attendees will learn to:

  • Understand OPC UA specifications and practices
  • Install and use OPC UA test tools and applications
  • Navigate through server address space and locate information
  • Read and write I/O data, history data and events
  • Understand information modeling
  • Use different security settings
